Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo: JOE METTLE IS A VISIONARY

Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo shared on his Facebook today after the opening of Joe Mettle’s new ultra modern studio. When Nii Noi sent me an invitation to witness the opening of the new Reverb Studios by Joe Mettle at Sowutuom, I knew I had to fulfill the invitation because I had missed too many Joe Mettle events recently due to busy schedules

I just left the edifice still beaming with smiles like a kid who just got served chocolate cake.

Hear me out!

The new studio has virtually everything – everything modern and standardized to make recording seamless. There’s a recording studio, control room, media room, rooms within rooms, multiple washrooms, kitchen and other built-for-purpose rooms.

But wait there’s more!

There are hostels that would host guests who come in to record and have to spend the night – and there’s a big CEO’s office for Joe, which is befitting of a Chief Executive Officer. Amazing!

Check this out:

Investment

Since hitting mainstream, Joe has had his own recording studio in Dansoman, then upgraded to another studio in Weija and now this.

His ability to re-invest in his craft is simply exemplary and that studio would also serve as recording grounds for others too. Ingenious!

Collaboration

Albeit having the vision, I learnt that the design of the beautiful edifice was done by another gospel artiste, Kofi Karikari and his brother. Screens were provided by Nii Lante and other elements were provided by other individuals

Clearly, Joe understands that – “ If you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together.”

Economy Booster

The huge edifice means Joe would employ and engage hands, mostly creatives – which means, he is contributing immensely to the creative economy and the national economy in general.

Businessman

Joe has shown that he is not just a man – he is the business, man!

His sprawling office as the CEO within that edifice indicates he is all about the business. What he has put up is a business and he is treating it as such.

Exposure

Joe is one of few gospel folks who get to travel across the world and he obviously has been picking some business nuggests from such travels.

He is just not globetrotting – he is learning too.

I’m awestruck by what I just saw this morning and I pray God blesses others in the craft to emulate.

God bless your hustle, Joe Mettle
