Daughters of Glorious Jesus Bring Hope to Nsawam Inmates Through Powerful Gospel Music Collaboration

The gospel music trio, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, shared that they had undertaken one of the most challenging projects in their 36-year ministry, inspired by a divine vision to reach out to women in prison. They explained that in the previous year, they felt a strong urge from God to visit inmates at Nsawam Prisons, but they wanted their mission to go beyond offering gifts. Their aim was to leave a lasting impact.

After exploring several ideas, they decided to record songs with the inmates. Despite facing security restrictions, they remained committed to seeing the vision fulfilled. The group expressed deep gratitude to the Ghana Prisons Service for its professionalism and support throughout the initiative.

They also appreciated the courage of the inmates who participated and acknowledged the contributions of the Officer-in-Charge, the Chaplain, and other officers who helped teach the songs. Additionally, they extended special thanks to the directors of Ceqa Foods and Beverages (Chickenman/Pizzaman) for generously providing food for all the

inmates and staff on duty.

Their goal, they emphasized, was to lift the spirits of female prisoners with the powerful message: “It’s not over.” They proudly announced the release of “Eli Eli,” one of three songs recorded with the Nsawam Prisons Choir, set to be available on all digital platforms from Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
