Danny Addo is a worshipper, worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist. Though he has been involved in music for a long time, he began officially releasing singles about eight years ago. To date, he has released three singles, with Okum Yen Daa being his third.
His debut single, “Odo Ben Koraa,” was followed by “Come Spirit,” released approximately five years ago. Danny, an anointed worship leader, heads the music ministry at his local church. His soothing voice and spirit-filled ministrations have garnered much admiration from those who encounter him.
Danny believes he is called by God to impact his generation, particularly the youth, through spirit-filled music. He emphasizes the need to counter the enemy’s influence over young minds through anointed songs, urging believers to receive inspiration from God to combat these attacks.
Okum Yen Daa, inspired by Psalm 91, was written with lyrics directly from this scripture, leading Danny to also call it “The Psalm 91 Song.” The track features an Afrobeat rhythm, great production, and was mixed and mastered by Daniel Ayittah of Outlook Records, one of Ghana’s top mixing engineers. The song instantly gets listeners dancing from the first hearing.
