Ghanaian gospel artist Kofi Owusu Peprah is mourning the loss of his father, Rev. George Owusu Mensah, who passed away this morning. Known as a dedicated pastor and music composer, Rev. Mensah was the Senior Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Amakom, Kumasi.
He was instrumental in shaping Kofi's spiritual and musical journey, serving not only as his father but also as his first music teacher and mentor.
Rev. Mensah's compositions, including songs like Matwen Awurade Anim and Wo nkutoo na wos3 ayeyi s3 biribi wo aseda akyi aa, have left a lasting impact on Ghana's gospel music landscape. His legacy will continue to inspire many.
We extend our deepest condolences to Kofi Owusu Peprah and his family in this difficult time. May they find comfort in God's grace and the love of those around them.
